At the end of the day, the weather will be sunny and fairly warm, with a few cumulus clouds over the higher ground. A calm evening and night, with mostly starry skies and the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights to the north - just make sure you stay away from light sources!
Sunday: generally sunny in the morning, with cloudy skies and the first cumulus clouds over the highlands. In the afternoon, there will be occasional widespread high-level showers and cumulus clouds ahead in the mountains. A few showers with occasional thunderstorms over the higher ground at the end of the day, and a risk of showers affecting lowland areas in the evening and overnight, but with limited activity. Temperatures often summer-like.
Temperatures forecast for the Rhône plain: lows 9 to 11°C, highs 23 to 26°C. In stations around 1500m: lows 5 to 8°, highs 17 to 19°. On the summits: 7/12° at 2000m, 1/3° at 3000m. Isotherm of 0°: 3300m.
Occasionally moderate breezes during the day on the plains and in the valleys, moderate southwest in the high mountains and gusty winds in thunderstorms.

Next few days in Valais
Monday, changeable to fairly sunny but unstable weather. Occasionally heavy cumulus clouds during the day, with a few showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon, especially over higher ground. Temperatures mild, with highs of 22 to 24 degrees in the lowlands and 14 to 16 degrees around 1500m altitude.
Tuesday, still dry with a few sunny spells in the morning, then very cloudy with frequent rain arriving from the west at the end of the day and into the evening. Temperatures dropping, with highs of 18 to 20 degrees in the lowlands and 11 to 13 degrees around 1500m altitude.
Wednesday: variable to cloudy, with occasional thundery showers in the second half of the day. Temperatures fairly cool, with highs of 15 to 17 degrees in the lowlands and 9 to 11 degrees around 1000m altitude.
Thursday and Friday will see no real improvement, with persistent unstable and humid weather punctuated by occasional thundery showers, especially in the afternoons. Temperatures barely seasonal. To be confirmed.
